I chose ECU because of the excellent reputation it enjoyed in the field of Cyber Security

Having decided to study Cyber Security, I chose ECU because of the excellent reputation it has in this field. My study experience here has been great and has presented me with a number of opportunities to build my career. The lecturers at ECU are very helpful and supportive and they helped us gain the skills to make a successful transition from study to the workplace.

  • Samuel Bettison

    Samuel Bettison

ECU Counter Terrorism Security and Intelligence student

The lecturers at ECU are lifelong professionals who have extensive experience in the subjects they are teaching

During my study I've found that the lecturers at ECU are lifelong professionals who have extensive experience in the subjects they are teaching, rather than just an academic background. This makes the lectures very interesting, as we get to learn about real world issues and solutions. There are many opportunities for developing important contacts within the industry. Representing the university at two major industry conferences allowed me to develop critical networks in Federal and State law enforcement, and private industry.
