Hello
To support businesses during this challenging time the NSW Government has worked with the Australian Government to launch new financial grants and payments for businesses and individuals affected by lockdown.

We recognise these financial support programs have put additional pressure on accounting and tax practitioners.
To help you we have produced resources that will address your questions and support the work you’re doing for your clients.
Resources
We have developed a toolkit, including newsletter/website copy and FAQs you can use to communicate the new amendments to the financial packages. Topics include:
  • aggregated annual turnover
  • decline in turnover calculations
  • required documentation
  • eligibility.

We are continuing to work with industry and other NSW Government agencies to provide answers to ongoing questions, with further toolkits and updates to come.
Updates to financial assistance programs
Eligibility for the JobSaver program has been extended to include businesses with an annual turnover between $75,000 and $250 million who have experienced a revenue decline of 30 per cent or more.

These changes are in addition to the financial assistance, support measures and tax relief offered in the NSW Business Support package announced earlier this month.

Support for individuals impacted by the current COVID-19 restrictions and stay at home orders is also available through Services Australia

If you have any questions about the information in this pack, please contact your relevant industry body.

We thank you for your ongoing support as we continue to work together to help protect the NSW community.
