The following grants are now open. If you haven’t already now is a great time to check the eligibility criteria and apply online. 
 
Please also note the newly announced changes to JobSaver:
  • Payments will be available to businesses with an annual turnover of $75,000 to $250 million, up from $50 million. 
  • The maximum weekly payment will increase to $100,000 per week, up from $10,000 per week. 
 
The application process will be updated to reflect these changes in the coming days.
 
1. JobSaver  
Fortnightly payments of up to $100,000 per week for employing businesses (up to 40% of weekly payroll) and $1000 per week for non-employing business.  
 
Businesses need to have revenue decline of 30% or more, and turnover of $75,000 to $250 million. 
 
2. 2021 COVID-19 business grant
A one-off payment of up to $15,000 to help businesses, sole traders or not-for-profit organisations impacted by the the first 3 weeks of the Greater Sydney lockdown (which started on Saturday 26 June). 
 
3. 2021 COVID-19 Micro business grant 
A fortnightly payment of $1,500 for businesses, sole traders and not-for-profits, with a turnover between $30,000 and $75,000, that can show a revenue decline of 30% or more.
 
4. COVID-19 Disaster Payment now up to $750 for individuals
Due to the significant impact of the lockdown, financial support has increased to support workers who've either lost their job, or had their hours reduced.
 
Eligibility depends on location and lockdown periodPayments of $325–$450 for a loss of 8 to 20 hours of work per week, and $500–$750 for a loss of more than 20 hours per week
 
5. Small business fees and charges rebate 
Businesses whose 2021 payroll tax was below $1.2 million, may be eligible for the $1,500 small business fees and charges rebate.
 
It can be used to offset NSW and local government fees and charges, including council rates, liquor licences, food authority licences and tradesperson licences.
 
6. Payroll tax support 
Businesses that have annual Australian wages up to $10 million, and can show a revenue decline of 30% or more, could be eligible for a 25% reduction in 2021-22 payroll tax
 
All businesses paying payroll tax can opt in to defer payments of 2020-21 annual reconciliation and take interest free 12-month repayment plans for deferred payroll tax. 
 
7. Financial support for arts, screen and culture  
Financial support is available to performing arts venues, producers and promoters impacted by the cancellation or postponement of performances resulting from lockdown starting Saturday 26 June. 
 
Theatrical performances (including dance and musical theatre) and music performances are eligible. 
 
8. Tax relief for commercial landlords 
Commercial and residential landlords who reduced their tenants’ rent due to COVID-19, between 1 July 2021 and 31 December 2021, may be eligible for land tax relief of up to 100%.
