Approved applications will receive payment in their nominated bank account within 3 business days.
Here are the eligibility requirements to help you decide.
The business grant is open to businesses, sole traders and not-for-profit organisations:
- With an active Australian Business Number (ABN)
- Operating in NSW on 1 June 2021
- With an aggregated annual turnover between $75,000 and $50 million (inclusive) for the year ended 30 June 2020
- With total annual Australian wages of $10 million or less on 1 July 2020
- Who experienced a decline in turnover of 30% of more due to the public health orders over a minimum 2-week period from 26 June 2021 to 17 July 2021 compared to the same period in 2019, the same period in 2020, or the two week period immediately before the Greater Sydney lockdown began (12 June to 25 June 2021).
The business grant funds:
- Provide businesses with cash flow support for the first 3 weeks of the Greater Sydney lockdown (26 June to 17 July 2021).
- Are to be used for business costs incurred from 1 June – 17 July 2021 for which no other government support is available.
- Require employing businesses to maintain their employee headcount from 13 July 2021 while receiving payments from this grant.
- Require non-employing businesses to have their primary source of income from this business. If you have more than one non-employing business, you can only claim payments for one business.

You'll then see the 'Application details' page. Simply choose either 'proceed with my application' or 'withdraw my application'. If you have more than one grant application, please check the details to ensure you action the correct one.
If you choose 'proceed with my application' and your application is successful, payment will arrive in your nominated bank account within 3 business days.
