The long-standing Property Law Act 1974 (Qld) has been replaced by the Property Law Bill 2023 (Qld) (‘Bill’). The Bill introduces a mandatory seller disclosure regime (with some exceptions) and modernises property law in Queensland with contemporary language that reflects current commercial practice.
