Summary:
Vienna is the capital of Austria and lies at the heart of central Europe. Known as the city of music, it is the birthplace of the waltz and the resting place of Beethoven. This grandiose city once controlled most of Europe, but is now better known for its enviable collections of historic and artistic treasures. The trip begins at the Hofburg Palace, once home to the famous Hapsburg dynasty, then heads for the city's cemetery which lays rest to over two and a half million people. After a look around the Freud Museum, we head out of town to learn Mauthausens gruesome past. Returning to Vienna we end our journey at one of the cities famous balls.
