Hi [Preferred Name] and welcome to this week's edition of Onshore.
I would like to wish you all a very warm Happy New Year. I hope the festive season, even though different from what we are used to, has been relaxing and enjoyable.
We, at the Club, are looking forward to 2021 with great enthusiasm. Although it is a little quiet on the sailing side in the coming
weeks, I encourage everyone to take a look at our comprehensive sailing
calendar and ask the team in the Sailing Office about the different series and
styles of racing we offer, whilst entries are open for the second half of the
summer program. If you would like any assistance entering a yacht or looking
for more information, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Sailing Office via email by clicking here. It's also a
great time to brush up on your rules as the new Racing Rules of Sailing came
into play on 1 January. Click here for more.
When you make your way down to the Club this year, if you have not already, you will notice there are a few changes which have come in to place as required by the NSW Government in regards to current COVID-19 regulations.
Firstly when you and your guests enter the Club you will now need to use the Service NSW QR code and app to perform their COVIDSafe check-in. You can download the app here. The Club has implemented this from 1 January 2021 and applies to all Members and guests on top of Members swiping their membership card as normal. If you are having any troubles, our Reception Team will help guide you through this new process, click here to find out more.
Secondly, from today it is a requirement that staff working in the bar and front of house must be wearing a mask. This has been applied to all companies across the hospitality industry and is to ensure the health and safety of all Members, guests and staff.
I hope to see you at the Club soon!
Justine Kirkjian CEO
