Seniors Rights Service invites older people living at IRT Tarrawanna Care Centre and their families to a Zoom meeting to ask questions about the recent COVID-19 outbreak and how it affects you and your older family members.

You can ask questions of:

  • Department of Health representatives
  • Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission representatives
  • IRT Tarrawanna Care Centre representatives
  • Seniors Rights Service - Shannon Wright CEO
  • Seniors Rights Service - Margaret Crothers COVID-19 Response Team Coordinator

During this meeting we'll also talk with you about the services available to support you now and on an ongoing basis.

A reminder that this is a meeting for families and residents so that they can have a voice and an opportunity to ask questions. Please be respectful of this.

You can submit a question ahead of the meeting that you'd like answered during the meeting. We'll do our best to answer as many as possible. You can also submit questions during the session via the chat function.

This event has a limited capacity so we encourage you to register to secure your participation. Once you have registered we'll send you the link you need to attend the meeting along with an opportunity to submit your questions.

Older Person Attendance

We would like as many older people living in residential aged care at IRT Tarrawanna Care Centre to attend as possible. In addition, we hope that family members enable their older loved ones to participate by encouraging them to register and tune in to the event or by facilitating their attendance.

Seniors Rights Service provides free and confidential independent aged care advocacy and information to older people, their families and representatives and individual advocacy support to people receiving, or eligible to receive, aged care services.
