Client Comstor Australia
Campaign Name Million Dollar Draw

The Challenge

Comstor Australia wanted to ramp up their Cisco sales with a campaign that would help them stand out from this already noisy marketplace. They were looking for someone to help them create a high impact campaign which had never been seen previously in the Australian IT channel history. They needed someone with the experience and expertise to help turn their big idea into a reality. So, they turned to Hachiko for assistance.

Our Solution

Working alongside Comstor, we developed a seven-month tactical campaign designed for resellers to participate for their chance to win $1Million Dollars in cash! Comstor resellers would earn an entry into the Million Dollar draw with every sale made from the eligible Cisco products.

We helped Comstor bring their big idea to life, but also took away the heavy lifting that comes with all big promotions. We looked after everything from:

  • Development of promotional logistics
  • Construction of web-based entry facilities
  • Entry mechanics with 3 leaderboards
  • Validation and data entry
  • Insurance Underwriters Legalities and Lottery Permits
  • Event logistics for Draw
  • Channel Advertising
  • Video Promoter
  • Reward fulfillment
Campaign Design

Campaign Design

With all big ideas, the creative also needed to be impactful. Our experienced design team took the brief to create something gold and luxe and created something that could translate across all digital promotional assets, including video. With a campaign message “Partner with Cisco and Comstor Elevate, and earn a chance to become an overnight millionaire” who wouldn’t want to take part?

To further amplify the biggest promotion in IT channel history, Comstor launched with a 60 second promotional video, creating excitement in the market and illustrating how partners could have a chance to become a millionaire!
