It’s an excellent opportunity to build out the breadth of your risk expertise. You’ll partner with the business to align planning with the Funds risk appetite. You’ll review risk frameworks, improve controls and assist in preparing board reports. This role will also be responsible for liaising with our outsourced service providers as well as managing incidents and breaches. You can build on and lift risk awareness, enhancing our risk culture and increasing our risk maturity.What you’ll bringRelevant experience and a proven track record in a risk, audit/assurance role, with experience in superannuation preferredProven experience in the identification, assessment and monitoring of risksKnowledge of and familiarity with key legislation and regulation including: the Corporations Act, SIS Act, Privacy Act, AML/CTF Act, APRA Standards and ASIC Guidance.Experience with risk frameworks and the management of risks in an organisation (including strategic, investment, governance, operational, resilience, outsourcing and external)Strong skills in facilitation, communication, challenge, presentation, and insightful risk reporting to a wide audienceTertiary studies/qualifications relevant to riskOrganisational skills – ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, have sound time management and prioritisation skillsProficient computer skills – ‘self-sufficiency’ for the development of written communications material. The opportunity

What you’ll bring

  • Relevant experience and a proven track record in a risk, audit/assurance role, with experience in superannuation preferred
  • Proven experience in the identification, assessment and monitoring of risks
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with key legislation and regulation including: the Corporations Act, SIS Act, Privacy Act, AML/CTF Act, APRA Standards and ASIC Guidance.
  • Experience with risk frameworks and the management of risks in an organisation (including strategic, investment, governance, operational, resilience, outsourcing and external)
  • Strong skills in facilitation, communication, challenge, presentation, and insightful risk reporting to a wide audience
  • Tertiary studies/qualifications relevant to risk
  • Organisational skills – ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, have sound time management and prioritisation skills
  • Proficient computer skills – ‘self-sufficiency’ for the development of written communications material. Experience with enterprise risk management systems preferred.
  • Well-developed and commercially focused problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Any experience in investment risk and/or crisis management will also be highly regarded.
