Victoria’s new Health Minister isn’t ruling out bringing mask mandates and working from home orders back.

Mary-Anne Thomas was sworn in a week and a half ago after Martin Foley’s resignation.

She refused to rule out the reintroduction of mask mandates or work from home advice as the state continues to battle COVID-19.

“The pandemic declaration allows me to make that decision and I haven’t yet made it,” she told Heidi Murphy, filling in for Neil Mitchell.

“The public health team are looking at modelling and they’re consulting with their colleagues and various ideas are floated but no ideas have been taken.”
