Psychiatrists 'surprised' by TGA approval of 'experimental' drugs

Authorised psychiatrists will be allowed to prescribe MDMA and psilocybin in Australia as of this weekend, following approval by the Therapeutic Goods Administration.

But the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists is urging caution, as it hurries to publish guidelines.
