About the Event
In the quest to answer the question "what is the labour market size of the renewables industry?", the ACT Renewables Hub has come across very interesting information.
Renewable industry jobs include obvious jobs like solar PV installers, it also includes many non-obvious ones, like researchers at our universities, policy people working for the federal and territory governments and more. Everything from batteries, renewable hydrogen, EV’s, energy efficiency auditors, passive house builders, to suppliers and installers of solar hot water systems and hot water heat pumps...
It also includes all the support people that make these organisations move, from keeping the books, marketing, warehousing, logistics and more.
People will be surprised by just how many smart energy jobs there are...
