The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development’s Investor Ready Grant Program is a competitive funding program that will provide financial support to Western Australia (WA) agrifood businesses that have identified a need to raise external capital to support an expansion of their business.

Successful agrifood businesses will be able to use grant funding to access professional business services including investment and financial planning, business coaching and legal advice, to prepare them to engage with investors to raise capital.

About the Grants

The Investor Ready Grant Program, forms part of the broader Investor Readiness Program, which provides online and printed resources, training and skills development delivered through regional masterclasses and webinars.

The grant program is aimed at supporting regional and metro businesses who are looking to invest in regional Western Australia.

There will be a maximum of $320 000 available in the first round of the Investor Ready Grant Program. Eligible businesses can receive a grant of up to $20 000 (excluding GST) and businesses are required to match the grant funding minimum dollar-for-dollar.

The round one application period closed 5.00pm (AWST) Monday, 13 January 2020.
