During the period Thursday 5 November to Monday 9 November, the following Auckland CBD locations were visited by people – Cases A and D - later diagnosed as having COVID-19. 

For all people, watch out for symptoms and get tested if symptoms develop

What to do Location Date and Time

For most locations of interest, we are asking people who visited these locations during the time identified to:

  • Get tested – they do not need to isolate
  • Monitor for symptoms and get tested if they have any symptoms

  • Monday 9 November between 11:30am and 11:40am

Waldorf Apartments in Grafton

  • All tested

Sunny Town China Taste Restaurant, Lorne St

 

  • Monday 9 November between 11:40am and 12pm
  • Sunday 8 November between 11:40am and 12pm

For the following locations of interest, we are applying enhanced surveillance. We are asking people who visited these locations during the time identified to:

  • Get tested and isolate while waiting for their result. As soon as they get a negative result, they can continue with normal life.
  • We ask that they keep monitoring for symptoms, and if they become symptomatic, to isolate while they get tested.

Anyone in these locations should continue to look out for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days from the time they were at the location.

The symptoms of COVID-19 are a new or worsening cough, sore throat, runny nose, temporary loss of sense of smell, or fever.
