Our Strength and Cardio Virtual Program is now open

28 Apr 2020

We're pleased to announced that our Strength and Cardio Virtual 10-week program is now open.

In the Strength and Cardio Virtual program you join a Can Too pod – so you can train together virtually, with a Team Captain and a Coach, so you are ready and stronger than ever for your next Can Too goal event.

Can Too’s first Virtual Pod for the Strength and Cardio Virtual 10-week program sold out recently, and the good news is our third pod is now open.

Can Too’s third Pod Coach and Team Captain

The Coach is Beth Croft and Team Captain, Can Too Community Spirit Award Winner Kieran Gallagher.

Coach Beth will provide two phone consultations over the course of the 10 weeks, to ensure you’re motivated and on track.

The program is for anyone wanting to improve (or maintain) their strength and fitness within a fun and friendly small online group of training buddies. It's perfect for runners and swimmers, and all the exercises can be done at home, with no special equipment. There is also a health and wellness focus, with content for both physical and mental health, plus a nutrition guide.

The registration fee is $25 and the fundraising commitment is $275. We are also offering the option to make a $27.50 donation each week for ten weeks from a nominated PayPal account.

You'll receive two new sessions each week via a Facebook video with our positive and inspiring Can Too Coach Presenter Sally Lynch.

View Sally’s video introduction to Can Too’s Strength and Cardio Virtual 10-week program below and you can register here.

See the online training schedule below:

  • 1 x 45min strength session (focusing on slow repetitions and using your own bodyweight) on Monday midday and
  • 1 x 45min cardio fitness session Wednesday midday
  • Plus 1 x exercise session from iMove Physio or a guest Can Too Coach.

These videos will be posted on the Can Too Strength and Cardio Virtual Program private Facebook group which is suitable for beginners through to advanced levels and will be available throughout the course of the program.
