Consumer Law

We are a community legal centre that provides free legal advice and assistance to people in the ACT. We can help you to resolve problems with:

  • financial service providers such as banks and other credit providers

  • telecommunication and utility companies

  • other businesses and traders.


We also operate the free Defined Benefits Information Service (DBIS) which is an information service for people injured in a motor accident in the ACT.

 

We do not assist businesses or in private disputes between individuals.
