Why this petition matters

Started by Mark Skelsey

At present, Dulwich Hill commuters are forced to use a dangerous faded at-grade pedestrian crossing to exit the station. There have been many near-misses and pedestrian accidents at this crossing.

Inner West Council's Traffic Committee has approved an upgrade to the intersection of Wardell Rd and Dudley St, Dulwich Hill into a raised, signalised crossing, which will slow cars and provide a safe environment for pedestrians and cyclists to cross the road. These works are fully-funded.

These works were due to start construction in March-April 2022. However, these works are awaiting final sign-off from Transport for NSW bureaucrats.

Let Transport for NSW know how important these works are - and let's get them underway!
