The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is working with the Me-Mel Transfer Committee to make recommendations to the NSW Government for the transfer of Me-Mel in Sydney Harbour to Aboriginal ownership and management.
To prepare for this transfer, NPWS is undertaking a large-scale remediation and conservation program of the island’s built assets.
