Climate change is described by the World Health Organization as "the greatest threat to global health in the 21st century.”

Professor Tony Capon, Director of the Monash Sustainable Development Institute, will outline the impacts of climate change, biodiversity loss and ecosystem degradation and identify urgent actions necessary to safeguard health.

A public health physician and authority in environmental health and health promotion, Professor Capon contributes widely to research, publications and conversations about the impact of climate change on human health.

Date: Friday 4th June 2021

Time: 1.00pm – 2.15pm EST (includes Q&A)

Location: Due to current restrictions in Victoria, this will be an ONLINE event only and will be delivered via a Microsoft Teams link.
