About this event

Supporting grieving and bereaved people can be very rewarding as well as taxing. Burnout and Compassion Fatigue can be common experiences for the volunteer.

In this session, you will be given the opportunity to explore these conditions and to discuss ways to nurture your well being to facilitate resilience in the face of adversity, uncertainty and grief.

This Zoom workshop has been specially created by Mirna Tarabay for palliative care volunteers. Mirna brings with her a wealth of experience in psychotherapy, counselling, and training and has previously facilitated our Accidental Counsellor training sessions.

Volunteer Managers are encouraged to bring their volunteers together in a COVID safe way to participate in this Zoom workshop as a group. Volunteers will also be able to participate individually.

This registration is only for Volunteer Managers to complete. A Zoom link for the workshop will be sent to each listed email address.

Organised by
