About this event
Learn to use ArcGIS Online to create and share simple, interactive web maps.
What: Web mapping with ArcGIS Online (GIS104) is 2 x 3-hour hands-on sessions which complement, but do not require, training in ArcGIS Story Maps.
In these sessions you will be introduced to the fundamentals of web mapping in ArcGIS Online. You will learn to generate well-designed web maps that you can link to from a blog, embed into your Story Maps, and share through social media!
You will explore how to make pop-ups and control interactivity with existing templates, learning to generate maps which effectively reveal patterns and tell your research story.
When: Online lab sessions will run from 9.30am – 12.30pm on Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 February 2022.
Please note: training is for ANU staff, HDR students, and Postgraduate students only.
