Jo’s Legacy

Donation protected
Our beautiful mum Jo was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in April 2022.

Mum being the strong woman that she was said that she was going to fight this cancer and win.

Unfortunately, after further scans and discussions with her oncologist about her options, Mum made the brave decision to go into palliative care.

Mum was in palliative care for 3 weeks at the Korumburra Hospital before she sadly passed away on the 16th of June 2022.

The awful pain that Mum was experiencing from the cancer was managed by a syringe driver. Mum had named the driver “Duncan” - ‘cause he was her mate. She even had all the nurses calling the driver Duncan too!

A syringe driver is a vital piece of equipment for palliative care patients. Mum’s wish was to help the hospital in purchasing this equipment which can cost over $3,000.

We will be eternally grateful to the Korumburra Hospital for taking such good care of our mum, darling wife and adored sister.

We have had a heartwarming number of family, friends, and friends of friends ask to donate who are unable to donate in person at Mum’s ceremony. We will keep this link open until Friday 1st of July 2022 to allow those family and friends who wish to contribute to do so ❤️

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your condolences, love, and support.

Lots of love,

Steven, Matt, Beau, Sophie, Chrissie, Jax and all of Jo’s family x x x
