Our team proudly joined over 500 people from across the industry last Friday to support the Property Industry Foundation Steps for Homeless Youth event in Melbourne, raising funds for youth housing. Our Head of Portfolio (Office) Nicole Ward presented a cheque on the day for $60,375 to the Foundation as a result of ISPT’s Sustainable Furniture Scheme, where over 4,400 items and 255,000kg of material were saved from going into landfill during our redevelopment of Pathway Place in Canberra. These funds will now go directly towards the Foundation's latest Haven House project in South East Melbourne due to open in June, providing direct support to vulnerable youth. Nicole commented: “We're proud to be creating better futures with the Property Industry Foundation by supporting a closed-loop economy and transforming waste from a problem into a shared-value partnership with our community." Congratulations to all our ISPT team members who participated and helped raise much needed funds on the day! We’re pleased to announce that ISPT with development partner Aliro Group have achieved our first 6 Star Green Star rating for an industrial asset in our portfolio. Leased to the specialist international distribution and services group Bunzl Australasia, the recently completed warehouse 2, 3 Foundation Place in the Greystanes development has achieved this outstanding result due to several key initiatives including a 299.7kWh solar PV system installed on site, energy-efficient mechanical and lighting design and the use of sustainable materials. The project was certified 6 Star under the Green Star - Design & As Built v1.3 rating tool. Head of Portfolio (Industrial) Tim Jackson commented, “This is an outstanding achievement for ISPT Core Fund’s industrial portfolio that further demonstrates our commitment to delivering ESG excellence at ISPT.” “ISPT continues to deliver best practice sustainability initiatives that not only drives our asset performance but also provide benefits to our like-minded tenant partners who continue to seek out locations with leading sustainability solutions.” #BunzlAPAC #SustainableDesign #Industrial #Property #Greenstar

Our team were humbled to host a private screening of the emotionally charged and powerful Australian short film ‘Charlie’ at 477 on Pitt Street in our Collider event space last week. Directed by Mel Poole of 18 Degrees Films and inspired by the real connection experienced by Anthony Ryan, the film depicts the touching true story and portrayal of a man's life amidst the streets of Brisbane, shining a light on how a single tragic event can plunge anyone into homelessness. As a business committed to supporting social impact initiatives, ISPT was proud to sponsor this film, which aims to change perceptions and raise awareness of the power of empathy to drive social change. Congratulations 18 Degrees on such a heartfelt and moving film. For more information: https://18deg.com/charlie/ #socialchange #socialimpact
