Heading into Queensland Small Business Month in May, a new round of the Business Growth Fund is coming! The Business Growth Fund grants program has been developed for high-growth businesses who can accelerate growth, drive Queensland’s economy and employ more Queenslanders. Expressions of Interest for Round 6 will open at 9am on Wednesday 1 May 2024 and close at 5pm on Tuesday 14 May 2024. Exciting news! We’re getting motors running with a new, Queensland-first apprenticeship. 🚗⚡ The Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology is delivered by TAFE Queensland and Motor Trades Association of Queensland (MTAQ). As the demand for qualified EV mechanics grows, this new apprenticeship program will help develop a skilled workforce. Queensland now joins the ACT as only the second state offering these types of apprenticeships. 🌟 Training will be subsidised for eligible apprentices under the Queensland Government’s User Choice and Free Apprenticeships for Under 25s programs. Free TAFE means more Queenslanders can get the skills they need, to accelerate their dream careers!
