Department of Employment, Small Business and Training’s Post

The Queensland Government Mentoring for Growth (M4G) program is looking for new volunteer business mentors. M4G mentors are business and industry specialists who volunteer their time, knowledge and expertise to help small business owners overcome challenges and identify opportunities through free mentoring sessions. Mentoring can be very rewarding for the mentors as well as the mentees. “I have been a M4G mentor for seven years, and the program has connected me to a bunch of really great people and taken me places I would not have gone – I have facilitated workshops, spoken on stage and been on roadshows all over regional Queensland. We need other mentors who have knowledge, passion and skills to share,” says Angie Hammond, mentor since 2014. Registrations close at 5pm on 31 October 2021. M4G delivers some very good outcomes for so many SME’s, thanks to the volunteers and QLD government.
