We recently held a 2-day workshop with a diverse group of participants who re-designed and improved the NDIS plan and plan letter templates. These changes will make them more accessible, simpler, and easier to understand, helping to reduce complexity and humanise the Scheme for a better participant experience. These updates will be implemented later this year. Learn more about co-design reform: https://bit.ly/4bq9HQA

Tua is a proud Polynesian singer who uses music to help create a happy life. Tua is featured in our new Cultural and Linguistic Diversity (CALD) Strategy and Action Plan 2024-2028. The Strategy is our commitment to improving the NDIS so we can meet the cultural and language needs of all our participants. We’re making the NDIS stronger. That’s why we are working with participants and the disability community closely to ensure we make the right changes. We have co-designed the CALD Strategy and Action Plan with over 800 people from CALD backgrounds and the National Ethnic Disability Alliance. Together, we developed a Strategy that responds to the needs of the community now and into the future.
