FEDERATED STATES OF MICRONESIA WORKSHOP TO REVIEW IDP2016 The first national workshop was held in #Pohnpei on 12th March to review the FSM Infrastructure Development Plan (IDP). Senior representatives and governors of the four states including #Chuuk, #Kosrae, #Pohnpei, and #Yap participated in the workshop. Carlson Apis, Secretary for Transportation, Communication, and Infrastructure said "the PRIF assistance is timely as FSM has just signed the Compact on 9 March 2024". He emphasized that the new plan be tailored to the realities of each of the four states. The workshop will discuss the challenges and achievements of the IDP and identify lessons to inform the development of the 2024 plan.

PRIF SUPPORTS THE FEDERATED STATES OF MICRONESIA #FSM REVIEW ITS INFRASTRUCTURE PLAN PRIF and #FSM kicked off the review of the FSM #Infrastructure Development Plan 2016-2025 (IDP) yesterday in a meeting between Secretary Carlson Apis, Department of Transportation, Communication and Infrastructure, Lorena Estigarribia, PRIF, and Maybelline Andon Bing from the ADB. The support will review the implementation of the current IDP, recommend strategies to strengthen #FSM national infrastructure investment planning processes, and develop a plan to update the IDP.
