The use of cannabis for medicinal reasons is growing in Australia. Its use is complicated, often medically controversial and has significant ramifications for workplaces, especially mobile workers.

The differences between medicinal and recreational cannabis will be discussed. The potential impact on workplace activities including driving will be reviewed and how these can be managed will be highlighted.
