this is the introductory page to the GEOMAR-part of ODSN, the Ocean Drilling Stratigraphic Network established by GEOMAR, Research Center for Marine Geosciences / Kiel and the Geological Institute of the University Bremen. This site is intended to provide and share information about data related with the DSDP (Deep Sea Drilling Project) and ODP (Ocean Drilling Program) drilling campaigns. Please take a look at the ODSN site of University Bremen too! You'll find interesting information there as well.

To share information, there's a discussion forum, where you can ask questions and discuss various aspects and problems related with ODSN and/or DSDP/ODP. Don't hesitate to ask/contribute here!

Please: I know, real hackers don't read manuals, but while you're not one, do yourself a favor and read the manual pages for the service you want to use. Specially the interactive mapping programs (plate tectonics, fossil distribution) are complicated and offer a lot of options, you can only learn about by at least glancing through the manual/help pages.
