Narre Warren Station Opening

Trains are stopping at the new Narre Warren Station from Thursday 28 March. Check the timetable and plan your journey before you travel.

Thank you for your patience while we worked to remove the dangerous and congested level crossing at Webb Street.

We’ll continue working on the finishing touches of the station until mid 2024. When complete, the new station will feature more seating and shelter, including a new air-conditioned waiting room.

The station will also include new toilet facilities, an updated ticket office and kiosk.

Learn more about your new Narre Warren Station by visiting: levelcrossings.vic.gov.au/narre-warren-station-precinct

Victoria's Big Build is making the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines level crossing-free by 2025.

Victoria's Big Build has removed 17 dangerous and congested level crossings from the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines, with another ten to go by 2025. Victoria's Big Build has built seven new stations on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines, and will deliver another three stations on the Pakenham line by 2025.

Along with the Metro Tunnel, the upgrades to the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines will make rail and road travel easier, faster and more reliable for Melbourne’s southeast, providing better access to jobs, health and education for people in this growth area of Melbourne.

Regular maintenance and critical safety works undertaken by Metro Trains Melbourne will also continue to ensure the safety and efficiency of Melbourne's metropolitan rail network.
