Welcome to online registration for Canberra Runners Goorooyarroo off-road events on Saturday September 23 at 0700.
There are three events:
- Half Marathon
- 14k and
- 2x10.5k relay.
All events are out and back on dirt roads through Mulligans Flat and Goorooyarroo Nature Reserves.
There is a cutoff of 3 hours for the Half Marathon. Runners who have not passed 7k by 50min will be turned and receive a 14k time.
Members of relay teams register separately. Relay teams are responsible for arranging their own transport to and from the relay change area at Horse Park Drive. Note that access to the change area is only possible driving east along Horse Park Drive. Vehicles wanting to return to the start/finish area can do a U-turn at the second set of lights travelling east.
The start/finish is at the small Mulligans Flat car park off Amy Ackman Street in Forde. There is additional parking on vacant land off Quinane Avenue.
The turn around for the half marathon and the relay change area is 200 m to the east along the fence at Horse Park Drive. There will be water available at the turn, and runners can also organise to have drinks/food transported here if they bring them to the start area prior to 6.45 am.
Registration for all events for non-members is $20. Entry is free for Canberra Runners members. Members will be checked against the current membership database.
