Pre Kindy, Kindy and Pre Primary
Pre Kindy
The Pre-Kindy’s have been having a very stress-free week! They have been crafting alphabet letters with buttons, paper, pipe-cleaners and more. They look spectacular! They also have a cool forrest hut area, right next to the building space where the Pre-Kindy children spend time making amazing creations right next to the Amazon! The classes also have a great time playing mum’s and dad’s with their babies and playing with their little grand prix cars! They look like they are having a great time in their first year of primary school!

Kindy
This term the Kindy’s have been making cotton-tip skeletons and they look bone shaking! They have also drawn a detailed drawing of them protecting their skin with bandaids. I think they PEELED that off well! On Tuesday, Week 7, they were practising challenging spelling words in three different ways; drawing their words on the iPads, choosing popsicles to make spelling words and writing them down, and pointing to letters to say them out loud. If you get it right, you get a smiley face! In their play corner, they have been running a pizzeria! Molto Bene! They have also been doing some maths and they have been matching the numbers in a deck of cards. What a fabulous term!

Pre Primary
The Pre Primary’s are learning about symmetry and have created fantastic symmetry with butterflies. They have completed fantastic artwork on the famous fairytale story ‘The Three Little Pigs’. The classes have been doing really well in there 3D and 2D shapes and they are also learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. They are also exploring a castle with knights in shining armour and princesses in puffy ball gowns! Mrs Perkov might be acting a little suspicious though!

Week Update: Padbury Matters Community
Father's Day was a huge success this term. All year groups were working on their special something for their wonderful fathers. Father's Day wasn’t the only thing on the agenda. The Year 6’s are coming to the end of their Mercy Fete preparations, the Year 5’s are beginning rehearsals for the Miss Wilson play and in Year 1 it seems to be all fun and games where they are learning about their friends of 10 and how to count in 10’s. Year 4 seems to have a big surprise up their sleeve for the rest of the school. On the 27th of August 2019 Padbury had two very special people come in to school to put on an entertaining book week show! The performance taught us children that you should never let anyone drag you down from a dream that you have and only true friends should give you words of encouragement not words of negativity. Term 3 has sure been a busy term and Week 6 was one of the busiest weeks of the year.
