Are you regularly rostered to work your ordinary hours outside of 6am - 6pm, Monday to Friday?
 
If yes, you could be entitled to additional annual leave!
 
Your Opal NSW enterprise agreement provides an additional week of annual for shiftworkers. For the purpose of assessing your entitlement, a shiftworker is an employee who is not a day worker (someone who works between 6am - 6pm, Monday to Friday).
 
If you are not a day worker, then you are a shiftworker and you may be entitled to additional annual leave. 
 
In March 2021, Opal changed what they consider to be a shift worker and some staff lost their additional week. HSU members have been fighting against this change and we want to make sure that everyone gets the leave they're entitled to.
