This is your opportunity to be the voice of business and help determine how the costs of solar feed in should be shared by all users including businesses.
We are looking for 10-20 businesses of different sizes, with and without solar panels, to be part of a Panel process (the People’s Panel) which will be advising SA Power Networks about how the costs of households and businesses feeding solar into the grid (export tariffs) should be shared fairly.
SA Power Networks are committed to including, in full, the arrangements that are determined by the Panel for transitioning to export tariffs in their proposal to the Australian Energy Regulator.
Key Dates that you will need to be available for
The Panel will meet on the following dates. Before registering your interest, you MUST be available to attend ALL dates.
- Monday 20th February 2022 7.00pm - 8.00pm Online Briefing Session
- Saturday 4 March 9.00am - 4.00pm U City, 43 Franklin St, Adelaide
- Sunday 5 March 9.30am - 4.00pm U City, 43 Franklin St, Adelaide
Meals and refreshments will be provided at all sessions.
Honorarium
If you are selected and take part at all sessions, you will be given an honorarium of $480 to help compensate you for any costs your incur through your participation. For participants that live more than 100kms away, SA Power Networks will pay for travel and accommodation expenses.
How will the Panel be selected?
All businesses who register their interest will be entered into a random stratification process to choose the 10-20 people, looking for a diversity of businessess & energy needs. An independent organisation, democracyCo will undertake this process.
