Session Overview
People leaders know how to keep their staff and teams engaged. This can be a challenge when managing some staff that have short contract periods or who work on a casual basis. Balancing the needs of short-term employees and longer-term staff can be tricky.
This workshop will explore a diverse range of employee engagement strategies specifically for the aquatics industry and provide frontline managers and leaders with practical strategies for setting and meeting the expectations of others while meeting drivers of satisfaction of team members.

Meet Peter
Peter Agnew has been involved in the Aquatic and public safety sector for over three decades.
He is the current Director of People Development Australia, is a Consultant & Facilitator at Australian Institute of Management and has been a previous National General Manager of Surf Life Saving Australia.
Peter comes to us with a Master’s in Education, Business and Psychotherapy, bringing extensive real-life knowledge and skills to this People Leadership Masterclass - where we will delve deep into the drivers of satisfaction of casual, short term and longer term employees.
