The Perron Foundation has donated funds to The University of Western Australia, to provide scholarships to assist and encourage high-achieving students, who demonstrate educational disadvantage or financial hardship, to commence and pursue a Bachelor of Business an a Bachelor of Commerce at the University. The Scholarship has been established in memory of the late Stan Perron, AC CitWA, who was recognised as an exemplary leader in business renowned for his commitment to ethical behaviour. The intent of the scholarship is to enable students who have experienced Educational Disadvantage the opportunity to become future Business Leaders. The scholarship reflects the values of the late Stan Perron.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, an applicant must—
(a) be a domestic student;
(b) be a commencing student;
(c) demonstrate—
(i) educational disadvantage; or
(ii) financial hardship; and
(d) in the year prior to commencing studies at the University, have completed Year 12 or equivalent; and
(e) be enrolled, or eligible to enrol—
(i) full-time and
(ii) in the Bachelor of Business or the Bachelor of Commerce
