Proudly supported by the NSW Government, the Innovation Centre features the latest technology, including high-content and high-throughput technologies, uniquely suited to translational medical research including disease modelling, mechanism deconvolution and validation of therapeutics. Each facility has dedicated staff with outstanding technological and biological expertise.
The Innovation Centre is dedicated to facilitating and expediting research outcomes across all aspects of human health including cardiovascular disease, neurological, metabolic and immune disorders, and cancer. The technologies and expertise at the Innovation Centre can also support research and development activities in other sectors beyond health.

CVRN - Innovation Centre Grants
Partnering with CVRN, we offer an exciting opportunity, which provides early to mid-career researchers (EMCRs) access to the Innovation Centre to support short-term projects focussed on cardiovascular research.
The 2024 NSW CVRN-VCCRI Research Innovation Grant Applications have now closed.
Pipeline Accelerator Program
The Innovation Centre is an official service provider for Therapeutic Innovation Australia under their Small Molecules - High throughput screening capability.
Through their Pipeline Accelerator Program, vouchers are available to academic and commercial researchers across Australia to access Innovation Centre Facilities.
Stem Cell Production Facility iPSC Reprogramming Service
In partnership with Phenomics Australia, the Innovation Centre provides human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) reprogramming services.
