Star midfielder Adam Treloar says running out with two-year-old daughter Georgie this weekend will be the proudest moment of his career.

Treloar will notch up his 200th AFL match on Saturday afternoon at MARS Stadium, having played 79 games at GWS, 94 at Collingwood and 26 thus far at the Bulldogs.

“It’s been a pretty unique career to say the least – I’ve been very fortunate to play for three incredible clubs that I’m truly grateful for,” Treloar told media on Wednesday morning.

“I feel like I’m always going to have a piece of me at the three footy clubs - hopefully when I’m done, I can look back on my career and just be proud.

“Georgie’s never been on an AFL oval with me, so she’s going to come down (from Queensland) and run through the banner with me on Saturday which will probably be my proudest moment.

“There might be a few tears here and there because my family will be there in the crowd too. It might be a bit cold for Georgie down in Ballarat, but I’m extremely excited to have her run out with me.”

The Bulldogs will enter their Sir Doug Nicholls Round clash with Gold Coast off the back of a 48-point win over Collingwood.

Treloar was named the best on ground in that match, claiming the Bob Rose-Charlie Sutton medal following a 35-disposal, eight-clearance and three-goal display.

He said regardless of the opposition, he was just pleased to perform the way he and the team did.

“Whether it was against Collingwood or the week before against Port Adelaide, it didn’t really matter to me – it was just nice to be able to individually play the way I wanted to, and for us to play the way that we played as a group,” Treloar said.

“We’ve been pretty disappointed with some of the results that have happened throughout the first part of the year, so it’s very pleasing that we were able to play the way we started, and were able to sustain that.

“If we can play the brand that we’ve played in our wins, and continue to sustain that for longer – it’s going to go a long way to help us ultimately get to where we want to be and come right near the pointy end. We’ve just got to take it week by-week.”
