Applications for the Anzac Day Trust Grant are open

The grant is provided by the Anzac Day Trust, a body corporate under the Anzac Day Act 1960 (WA), and is administered by Defence West.

Grant applications are considered on an annual basis and multi-year applications for up to 3 years will also now be considered.

To apply read the guidelines and return the application form to veteransoffice@jtsi.wa.gov.au.

Applications close 1 July 2022.

The purpose of the form is to allow you to make the best case for your application and allow the trustees of the Anzac Day Trust to make informed recommendations to the Minister for Veterans Issues. As with all public funds, applications need to be accompanied by an appropriate level of detail and justification.

The trustees will consider all projects that deliver tangible outcomes and value for money for veterans and their families. Commemorative services, events and memorials will also be considered on a case by case basis.

This year, the Minister for Veterans Issues has stated that projects helping veterans win employment is the priority. Wellbeing programs are well resourced through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs and are less likely to be supported by the Trustees without a compelling case.

The application process is not designed to be onerous or discouraging.

Please contact the Manager of Veterans’ Issues at veteransoffice@jtsi.wa.gov.au if you have any queries or concerns regarding your application.
